Safari Chamber Music Night in NY

The Safari Chamber Orchestra, based in Tokyo, will join with local musicians for a free concert at the Benzaquen Hall the evening of Thursday, May 4th. There will be a reception after the concert.
The program will include works ranging from Beethoven to Dvorak, concluding with a contemporary piece by Yasushi Akutagawa, the Triptyque, incorporating traditional Japanese rhythms and melodies.
Musicians and audience members are invited to attend the casual Sushi party immediately following the concert.
