The North/South Chamber Orchestra marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Aurelio De la Vega, the late Cuban-American composer.
Long-time associates of the composer, soprano Anne Marie Ketchum and pianist Martha Marchena, will appear as soloists along with the North/South Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Max Lifchitz.
The entire De La Vega program will feature a retrospective of the composer’s works, highlighting his Recordatio for voice and chamber orchestra, written for the ensemble’s 30th anniversary.
Admission is free, but reservations are required.
