DiMenna Center Rehearsals

The DiMenna Center is custom designed for classical music rehearsal, with state-of-the-art acoustics, and can accommodate musicians ranging from soloists to full symphony orchestras and choruses. Our largest space, Cary Hall, is ideal for orchestras and choruses. Benzaquen Hall can accommodate a chamber orchestra. The Marianne Lockwood Green Room is ideal for rehearsing 2-6 person chamber ensembles.

Our spaces also meet the rehearsal needs of dance, jazz, rock, and pop groups, theater productions, and other performing arts projects, with theatrical lighting, audio playback systems, and a sprung floor in Cary Hall.

Located in New York City at the nexus of the Javits Center, Hudson Yards, Hell’s Kitchen, Penn Station, and Times Square in midtown-Manhattan, The DiMenna Center for Classical Music is centrally located near public transportation, parking, restaurants, and bodegas.
