Gemini Duo Recital

Gemini Duo, twin sisters Wanchen Zhao and Wanxu Zhao, are Chinese-born accordionists based in Denmark, where they have developed their distinctive approach to the modern classical accordion. Known for their remarkable synchronicity and orchestral range, the duo explores the instrument’s potential as a powerful contemporary chamber instrument. The program also features the world premiere of Shadow Selves by American composer Stephen Morris, written specifically for accordion duo.
