“Elevated themselves into those elite ranks alongside Yarn/Wire, Sō Percussion, Tigue, Iktus and Ensemble Et Al”, as described by the New York Music Daily, join Pathos Trio on Sunday, May 21st at 5:30pm for an exciting program of all world premieres of chamber music works for percussion, piano, and electronics by composers Ian Chang, Clara Warnaar, Phong Tran, Andrew Rodriguez, Vicente Hansen Atria, and Paul Mortilla.
Each piece on this program combines classical/contemporary aesthetics, use of electronics, and influences from various other genres of music, such as sythwave music, alternative rock, indie rock, and more. These commissions are support in part by New Music USA, American Composers Alliance, and the New York State Council for the Arts.
