Chao He presents an evening illuminating the full emotional spectrum of Chopin through a program of nocturnal lyricism, magnanimous polonaise grandeur, storm-driven scherzo intensity, and sweeping balladic drama. His selections showcase Chopin’s intimate poetry and breathtaking virtuosity, moving from whispered reflection to soaring, narrative power. The program also features two special guests: Qinyu Xiong brings crystalline agility to Devienne’s Flute Concerto No. 7 in e minor: I. Allegro, while Wenxuan Yu energizes the stage with Masayoshi Minoshima’s Bad Apple!! and Kurousa-P’s Senbonzakura, completing a richly textured musical evening.
