Gilbert Galindo: Perpetual Chant

Queens composer Gilbert Galindo presents some of his best works in Perpetual Chant: The Chamber Music of Gilbert Galindo, 2008-2016. Six works for winds, strings, piano, and percussion will be heard, ranging from a duo to a sextet. Bringing the music to life on this concert are some of the city’s finest new music performers: flutist Roberta Michel, oboist Ian Shafer, clarinetist Thomas Piercey, pianist Markus Kaitila, percussionist Chris Graham, violinists Jessica Park and Sasha Petrin, violist Liuh-Wen Ting, and cellists Eric Allen and Kate Dillingham, with Gilbert Galindo conducting. Doors open at 7:30 PM with complimentary wine and refreshments.
