“Interhere” is an evening of two contemporary compositions by Sarah Weaver based on concepts of networked spaces. “Polydimensional Transformation” (2016) is a work for solo bass, dedicated to bassist Mark Dresser. The music incorporates Dresser’s unique approach to harmonics and expresses an accumulation of inner networked spaces, multiple states of material, and transformation over time. “Interhere” (2017) for large ensemble synthesizes abstract concepts of multidimensional network and presence with composition, structured improvisation, gesture, and individual musical languages of the performers. Featuring pioneering performers of our time, “Interhere” is a concert of innovative and expressive expanse for interconnection.
