Orchard Circle: Berlin Philharmonic Members Election Night Bash

Orchard Circle’s opening concert, with members of the Berlin Philharmonic, includes drinks, dinner, jazz sets before and after the concert, and viewing of election returns. Tickets $27-$117.

The evening will look inside our troubled times, with music by sixteen American composers – Ned Rorem, John Harbison, John Corigliano, Fred Lerdahl, Phillip Glass, Milton Babbitt, Laura Schwendinger, Eric Moe, Augusta Read Thomas, Virgil Thompson, Roger Sessions, Daniel Brewbaker, Charles Wourinen, Lowell Liebermann, Sebastian Currier and Nathan Currier – primarily a collection of short waltzes intended to express this election and the ‘Weimar America’ concept it brought out.
