The orchestra will perform Haydn’s Symphony No. 94 in G (“Surprise”) and Stravinsky’s Suite from “The Firebird” (1919). By removing barriers for the audience by seating them inside the orchestra, not only will audience members hear the music, but they experience the electricity and magic that occurs among and between the musicians performing the works. The concertgoers see how musicians communicate with each other, and they feel the music sound going through them.
