Pianist and composer of the award-winning solo piano album Solo: Live in New York, internationally acclaimed jazz pianist Takeshi Asai, is back in New York for a series of solo piano concerts.
Acclaimed for his trio works, such as the French Trio and the New York Trio, Takeshi’s solo works are no less popular and have been extolled for their “sheer beauty, grace,” and “sensuousness.”
Tonight, Takeshi will perform his own interpretation of jazz standards, his original compositions, and totally improvised pieces drawing inspiration from the audience of the night.
