Talujon Percussion Plays Wet Ink

Talujon Percussion performs recent works by the dynamic and groundbreaking composers of the Wet Ink collective in an evening of immersive sound.  At the center of the program is Sam Pluta’s Four Sixes, an eighteen minute work in which the performers surround the audience, enveloping them in a process that develops inexorably from sparse attacks to full rhythmic counterpoint.  Kate Soper’s In the Reign of Harad IV will receive its New York premiere along side recent works by Alex Mincek and Eric Wubbels. This concert is presented in conjunction with the League of Composers/ISCM.
