The Tilted Head Ensemble returns to Benzaquen Hall with music by James Tenney, Barbara Kolb, Itzá García, Karola Obermueller, Pablo Santiago Chin, Carl Bettendorf, and Scott D. Miller. The concert will feature a rare performance of Tenney’s “Harmonium #1” (1976) for 12 sustaining instruments, a pioneering spectral composition.
