Free recital of world premiere and other bold new works by a trio of emerging composers completing their Master of Music degrees at Mannes School of Music in NYC. Celebrate Mother’s Day with new music for classical guitar and mixed ensembles of flute, trumpet, voice/choral, viola, piano, electronics and fixed media. Each composer presents a segment — at 4:30, 5:30 and 6 pm — with an intermission/brief reception preceding the middle concert. An inspiring afternoon with talented performing artists/composers ends with “Explorations,” a community journey through group free improvisation.
